Dirt Floor Records is a new record label founded on the old principle of releasing great music. We are an artist-formed collective focused on getting back to the roots of what makes music important.

DFR is made up of eight of the best songwriters in the Northeastern US. While each artist is stylistically unique, there is a common thread of tradition that runs through them all. It’s that tradition that brings this label and each of its artists to an important place in the American (and Global) musical time line.

It has become painfully apparent that it’s the job of the independent record label to pick up where the “big guys” are falling short. Here at DFR, we believe that the tradition and soul of music is alive and well. We’re proud to be a part of this ever-changing industry.
